Hi all! I was hoping someone who had obtained a Statement In Lieu Of A Certificate of Non-impediment to Marriage could clear something up for me about the form.
The same form is used if you want the Canadian Government to authenticate a document for you. A diploma, for example.
I selected the option in Section 3 that says I want a Statement In Lieu Of A Certificate of Non-impediment to Marriage, as shown here:
But my question is about section 4. Do I leave it blank, as I am not requesting a document be authenticated? Or do I list the Statement that I want? Or list what documents I enclosed?
Sorry for such a dumb question! I hoped maybe there was someone here who done this already and had it go okay. The process a while and if I mess it up, the whole timeline of my wedding changes. Super stressful!
