Hi, I have a question that i have been unable to find an answer.
My spouse will go to college in Canada. First she has to do 5 or 6 months of english, in the same College. An ESL program.
So when she applies for the college, she will be accepted with the condition she has to do the ESL for 6 months.
The question i have is whether i can apply for a work permit as she applies for the student visa.
From what i have read, a spouse of an ESL student cannot obtain a work permit. Yet what if the ESL student will be enrolled and has been accepted as a student of the same school. Can spouse get work permit. Or only until student starts official college (not ESL)?
Does someone know about a specific case where this has happened?
