Question about VAT refunds abroad and Canadian duty/tax checks

When I travel back to Canada, does the information about my VAT refund request ever get submitted to Canadian customs? I heard that something similar happened in the U.S., but I can't find anything that says the same thing for Canada. Does anyone know if the companies who give VAT refunds give that information to Canadian border guards?

You’d only be asking this if you were committing some sort of fraud. Don’t think anyone will be willing to help you if on this forum.
