Hey guys!

I applied for a visitors visa online on July 4th, I currently live in America.

How long should it take for my status to be updated?

It depends where in America (the continent is rather big). For example Mexico's timeline differs a lot from the timeline in Brazil. Where exactly in the American continent are you in?

I am very chill, never applied for a Canadian visa before so figured I would ask. Thanks for the reply anyways.

How much faster is applying online vs paper? I've heard stories of people getting their visa in less than week when their processing time on CIC is a month.

I think these times are for paper, because when you're submiting online, I don't know if the online application goes to the host's country's office, or some centralized location.

I have no idea if online or paper is faster because there is an office located in LA & I live in California so.. Maybe I should have just mailed it in? But I figured online might be easier.
