Hie everybody,

Today i want to know about Insurance after getting visa?
one of my cousin went to Canada on study permit he talked about a Insurance but i didn't know actually what it is?
Could anyone plz tell me what it is and is this needed for every student? From where we arrange this insurance?

I want to respond to your querry purely basing on assumption that insurance in question in the medical insurance scheme.

Upon getting admission to a college or university -The university shall automatically enrol you for the medical services for the first 3 month after which you enrol for the your own medical services plan.During this time if you fall sick you get treatments for free and it is invoiced on the uni/col

If you live in BRITISH COLUMBIA-after 3 months of studying you will have to enroll for BCMP which is about CAD 750
renewable each year.

Hope you find this helpful
