Question about salary amount on T4

Hello - I got my T4 for 2013 last week and sent to CIC to be added to my file (applied in Nov 2013 with 2012 T4s and NOA). However, I see that the income amount listed on my T4 is couple thousand less than my annual gross salary (as reported in the employment letter). This is because I got a raise earlier in 2013 and the letter of employment listed the latest salary.

Given CIC has my 2012 T4 + 2012 NOA + 2013 T4 + (I will send my 2013 NOA later), do you think it's going to be a problem? Do I need to send any other document to ensure there is no doubt?

Thanks,

a bit off topic, but I fall under the tax treaty between Germany and Canada and only need to file taxes for the days I stayed in Canada (any vacation outside Can or time in germany is not taxable). Therefore my T4 is less whats stated in the employment letter. I hope the VO are aware of things like these ... I attached a cover letter with an excel spreadsheet to explain the situation, just in case
Also do we need to send new T4/NOA as soon as they are available or are the ones from the previous year sufficient?

Cheers

You don't have to, but I did.
