Hey guys, just a little question.

On my husband's driver's license, he has an apostrophe in his last name. On his passport, he doesn't have an apostrophe. Every legal document is different.

So how am I supposed to fill out the forms? With an apostrophe or without, or does it not matter at all?

Thanks!

Lol, oops. Accidentally posted the thread without finishing the title. I'm burnt out with all this immigration stuff guys! ;D :D

Title is supposed to say "Question about principal application's name containing apostrophe/hyphen, etc"

Okay. This is my solution, lol.

I ask because on the fingerprint form, he wrote his name without an apostrophe, and the FBI will write the letter exactly as he wrote it (without apostrophe), but on all the forms I filled out, I wrote it with an apostrophe.

I'll simply write a letter explaining that every legal document he has differs, lol, some with, some without. Surely they would be reasonable. Sorry for spamming this forum, I'm working too hard at this point, need to take a break.

Thanks all! :P

Name in the application must be exactly the same as the name on the passport.

I agree with Canuck ..don't worry whats an anything else just make sure its the same as his passport. His Corp will arrive in this spelling and it has to match the passport.
