Question about police certificates

Hello,

I am planning to apply for Permanent Residency WITHOUT my spouse (he lives/works in the U.S. most of the time, so it doesn't make sense for him to become a resident here) via Express Entry for federal skilled workers.

Will I need to submit police certificates for my spouse if I am invited to apply for PR, even if he is not "accompanying" me to Canada? (we both already live here)

Yes, he will be required to provide police certificates and medicals.
