Question about Ontario Health Card

me and my wife are refugee claiments in Toronto，and my wife currently pregnant，she will be delivering the baby within a month，once the baby born，will she or he eligible for Ontario Health Card？Can we apply for it？ （we only have IFHP coverage from the federal.）

Your baby will be eligible for OHIP after his birth.
You will not till you get a positive decision at your hearing.
