I’m a research assistant at a university and I have received an ITA for PR under the CEC. I’m going to apply using NOC 4012 post secondary teaching and research assistants.
I just wanted to confirm that I can claim points for this NOC only having performed all the research assistant duties, and none of the teaching assistant duties? I am strictly a research assistant and do not perform any teaching assistant work.
My impression was that this is okay because the duties for research assistants and teaching assistants are divided and listed separately, giving the impression that they are two separate roles. I’m having last minute doubts because the lead statement combines these roles.
