Hi everyone,

I'm having a little issue with this new MyCIC system and am wondering if anyone can help me.

I have recently applied for my IEC program and have received my Conditional Acceptance Letter opening the way for my application to continue with MyCIC. I submitted all my documents through the MyCIC on-line website and my submission was successful. The next day i received a letter from CIC stating that they required additional documentation. Specifically, an Australian Police certificate since I was there for over six months, the English translation of my German Police certificate and to re-do my Family Form 5707 as I accidental made a mistake regarding the address field.

One week later, I have received my police certificate's and re-did my family form. I log back into MyCIC and to upload the documents. To my surprise I am greeted with extra fields for the requested documents however the upload field for the Family Form tells me that I have missed the date in which to re-apply and cannot do so from now on.

Frustrated, I uploaded the Police certificates and added a letter of explanation, explaining that I accidentally missed the cut off date and attached the completed family form as the second page of the letter hoping that it will be ok and I would not be denied for such a small thing. So, after doing all of this, I press the 'next' button, as I am under the assumption that when you upload new documents, you have to submit the application again.

Now here is my problem: When I am on the document review page, I sign my name in the two fields, tick the 'I accept' button and press 'next' to go to the next page which should be payment review as was the case when I first submitted it. However, I am returned to the page in which I would upload documents. All the documents say they are uploaded but I am confused as to whether this is the normal way the system does it when re-submitting documents or there was an error that isn't being displayed and I am missing something.

I am yet to receive an email confirming that my new documents are going to be reviewed/have been reviewed or anything to indicate that I am doing it right. I am worried that since I cannot get to the fifth and final page for the whole applications submission, my submission will be timed out and not processed or something along those lines.

Sorry for the long winded explanation but I think it's important to be thorough when it comes to visa problems. Many thanks in advance!

We're in kinda the same boat there. I made a mistake in the IMM5707 family form, too. But didn't get any message from CIC yet.
Submitted my application on Feb 11th. That is so weird, I really hope the just request the form again instead in denying my application.
I emailed CIC multiple times and called the CIC hotline.
As for your case, I think as long as you have the 'provided' stated next to the requested documents in your checklist and the
letter explaining the family form situation you should be good.

Don't know if this is any help but I didn't recieve a confirmation email after completing my stage 2 application so i emailed them at Question@cic.gc.ca. It took a few weeks but they just sent me an email saying there was a technical problem on their end. My application was approved straight after they emailed me back.
