The CIC website advises that the applicant (me), needs to complete the application forms and send them to their Sponsor at their Canadian address.

My Sponsor is my Anglo/Canadian wife, who has lived with me in the UK for the last 5 years. Therefore, as we live together, we are just filling out the Sponsor and Applicants forms together and plan on just putting it all together and mailing it to CPC-M from our UK address. We have stated on our forms that my wife resides outside of Canada and have provided proof of her intention to re-establish.

I just want to make sure that the application doesn't need to go to a Canadian address before it goes to the CPC-M. Does anyone know if the way we plan to do it will be acceptable?

It doesn't matter where you mail it from. The website/guide is written with the idea that the spouse lives abroad and the sponsor in Canada, so some of the advice will not apply to you.

I'm learning that plenty of this stuff doesn't apply to us! Cheers for the advice.
