I’m filling out my Déclaration d’intérêt (DI) in Arrima.

My main occupation has been under FEER 2 for more than 12 months, so I’m aiming for Stream 1.

While entering my past five years of work experience, I noticed that part-time jobs are also accepted in the form. So I added my two years of part-time jobs under FEER 3, 4, and 5. These were during my studies in Québec.

After adding them, Arrima automatically gave me an extra 50 points (10 points for total work experience in the past five years + 40 points for work experience in Québec).

Now I’m confused:
  • Should I keep these FEER 3–5 part-time jobs in my DI, even though they are not related to my main occupation for Stream 1?
  • Someone told me that even if Arrima awards points for them, immigration officers might remove those points during the application review and possibly reject my application.
Has anyone experienced the same situation? Any advice would be appreciated!
