I live outside Canada. I want to take the PNP immigration path. Do I need to find a job all by myself and persuade the employer to follow all the steps such as work permit, LMIA, etc? Or if there is an existing job pool that PNP organizes that I can apply to? Or is there some local organization that can help me to search for a qualified job opening?

Say If I get the PR and stay in that province, how long do I need o work for the sponsor company? Thanks

To be honest with you, finding a job outside Canada is an utter nightmare and next to impossible unless you're in an in-demand position like a software engineer, healthcare, chef/food, in the sciences etc., where it's relatively easy to get an interview because there aren't enough people in Canada in those types of industries and the migration system is very supportive to bring those people in, and those employers know they have to reach out overseas to fill the gaps.

So the short answer to your question is yes, you need to find a job all by yourself and persuade the employer to 1) Make an offer to you (which is ridiculously hard), and 2) Then convince them or pray that they understand your value and are happy to invest time and money in bringing you over (while waiting for you), and 3) Pray that the LMIA goes smoothly, so you can be issued a work permit and that will then be the main catalyst for a PNP application.

That's the harsh reality for most people wanting to come to Canada unless you're in those high-demand professions I mentioned above. The other option is Express Entry, but sounds like you've done your research on that and wouldn't be asking about PNP if you weren't eligible for it. Maybe tell us your NOC?
