Question about high school transcript

I'm accepted at a a University in Canada BC and will start this fall.
In Germany in high school, students have math until the end class and it is just called "math", we didn't get to choose a certain math subject.

When my high school paper was translated I found out that what I had is called "Pre Calculus 12."

I have to take a courses in University where "Principles of Math 12" is prerequiste.

Is "Pre Calculus 12" equivalent to "Principles of Math 12"?
