Situation is as follows:
I had two subsequent IELTS attempts and both time I scored 6 overall. I applied for postgraduate course at GBC for JANUARY intake and they offered me ESL course as a precondition for issuing conditional LOA.
I plan to re-take IELTS in November or December, but it's time to submit study visa application with conditional LOA if I want to participate in January intake.
I hope that I will succeed to score 6,5 since I need only half of the band. But I cannot be sure about that!
1. I suppose it is possible to withdraw from the ESL if I manage to score 6,5 and continue with my main course in January ?
2. If I don't score 6,5 is it possible to pursue ESL and my main course at the same time? I'm not quite sure about this. If it's not possible, problem is that my course has September and January intake, but not May intake. So what to do if I finish ESL for 2 months (Jan-Feb), than I will have a gap until September 2014, right?
Any useful ideas about this issue?
