Hello,

I was updating my profile for Express Entry and I have one question/doubt.

I have a bachelor's degree from Thompson Rivers University, Canada, BUT I did the degree while living in India (From university's extension campus). I got the degree in 2012 when I was in Canada, and it's a Canadian degree.

My question is, as I did my degree while physically residing in India, do I still need to get the degree evaluated, even though it's from a Canadian University?

Please advise.

As long as your degree is issued from Canada University, you should be good.

a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate must either have been earned at an accredited Canadian university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute in Canada. Distance learning counts, but only if it made up less than half your study.

@thinkshady, Yes, it was issued by the Canadian University. My classmates went to Canada in second year to complete the degree, whereas I stayed in India to complete the degree. We all got the same degree. So, it should be good, right?

thanks, @xpressentry,

so, physically residing in Canada is not mandatory? Could you please clarify the above?
