can contacting CIC through the call center and an MP have a negative impact on an application? Can thy get fed up and purposely delay your PR?

They are not suppose to but it do get recorded on your application. I saw it in my notes. It showed every time i called them

Yeah - I agree. Technically it's not supposed to delay. But they are only human, and if you bug them frequently, your file may magically end up at the bottom of the pile.

Thanks for responding! Our MP told us when we first applied "feel free to contact me whenever you want" we contacted him 3 times in 6 months. He said the ircc agent said to not have the mp office enquire anymore until after 12 months.


I very rarely use the call center since the MP got us a lot better info.

I was curious if this would affect my processing time
 
Yeah - three times in six months is a lot. I would hold off and not do that.

Sure - always possible processing time may be impacted even though it technically shouldn't be.

Sure hope my processing time isn't affected. I had my mo enquire 3 times in 6 months. He said he won't enquire until after 12 months now
