Hi everyone,

I’m a permanent resident in Canada and I’m planning to bring my parents to visit me using the Super Visa program. I believe I meet the requirements for that.

I also want to invite my 14 year old brother to come with them on a visitor visa so our family can stay together for a short visit (around a month or so).

I had a few questions and would really appreciate if anyone has experience with a similar situation:

  1. Is it okay to apply for my parents’ Super Visa and my brother’s visitor visa at the same time, as part of a family visit plan?
  2. Does having my parents approved for Super Visa improve or affect my brother’s visitor visa chances?
  3. In the invitation letter, should I explain that all three of them are traveling together and staying with me?
  4. Any tips to avoid refusal for a minor applying to visit family in Canada?
If anyone has gone through a similar process or has advice, I’d really appreciate your insights.

Thanks in advance!
