Question about Additional Dependants/Declaration IMM 0008DEP form

I am in the process of filing spousal PR application for my wife in India. My situation is simple. I live and work in Canada. I just married her last month, and she does not have any children.

On the CIC link mentioned here below, does my wife need to fill the form "Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] (PDF, NaN undefined)" ?

I don't think it is needed, but wanted to confirm with you, friends. My wife has a brother, 2 sisters, and her parents, and I believe these details will need to be populated in the form "Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, NaN undefined) " ? Right?

Please clarify and share your thoughts.

I believe you would only fill that out for dependents such as children. Her parents and siblings are not her dependents. Someone else may be more helpful though since I am fairly new to this process.

Yes, your wife (principal applicant) needs to complete the IMM 5406 Additional Family form. If she has no children then she does not need to complete the IMM0008DEP form.
