Question 9B - Filling out Citizenship Form

Hello all,
On question 9B, it asks for the start & expiry date of document with which you were here in Canada before becoming PR. For me, I was on Work Permit that I got.

The problem is - I can't seem to find a copy of the work permit, and thus not sure when it started for me. Any idea on how I can get this work permit copy?

I have an approximate idea of when I got it, but not 100%.

I would assume that your employer would have a copy of it, when you applied for your job to show proof that you can work in Canada.

I did think of this, and asked my employer. Turns out, at that I had implied status for a few months, and only gave them "proof of applying" for the work permit, and that is all they ever asked of me. They haven't been able to help me either.
