Hello all — looking for help with Question 11 on the Citizenship Application:

I have worked remotely (telecommuted) for several of my periods of occupation. Specifically, I spent two years in Canada finishing a graduate degree (writing my dissertation) for a U.S. university. So I was living and working in Canada but my employer was in the U.S. I’ve also held several term/contract positions with U.S. universities, but conducted the work from my residence in Canada. Again, living and working in Canada but employed by an institution in the U.S.

So, does “Address of the place of employment, study or other activity” mean the address of the employer (i.e. the U.S. university) or the address where I actually conducted the work (i.e. my home office in Canada)?

This may also be relevant to people who do contract work abroad, etc.

Thanks for your help!
