*EDIT*

Since I can't delete this post, and have since figured out that this is in fact speaking to the appeal issue (by using my common sense after all), I don't expect anyone to waste their time replying. :-\

----------------

I realize that an Inland application for sponsorship is ineligible to appeal, should the application be denied.
However...

Question 1 on IMM1344 asks: if the sponsor is found ineligible to sponsor, indicate whether you want to:
Withdraw your sponsorship application

or

Proceed with the application for permanent residence.

Since this speaks ONLY to the sponsor's approval, which I realize is the critical stage...does that constitute the `no appeal' rights for the person that is seeking sponsorship? Or, is the no appeal applicable only after the overall application process has been determined.

To summarize, can a sponsor that has been deemed ineligible have the right to appeal at stage 1?

If not, then since this form appears to be used for both Inland and Outland applications, at the very least it should be corrected to read: `Those applying Inland should only choose option 1', or similar.
There would be NO reason for an Inland applicant to select option 2 (at least they'd have some of their fees returned to buy their bus ticket out of Canada).

Sorry if this is an elementary question, but I'm scratching my head over this...for no reason, since I'm all but convinced my sponsor will have no problem being approved. :)

Hmmm...I'm now wondering if taking the first option can actually be beneficial after all...since I'm sure that CIC doesn't really enjoy refunding the fees (less $75).

My logic is:

Those that file Inland, yet select option 2...still have 1) no rights for appeal and 2) lose their fees entirely.
Those that file Inland, yet select option 1...still have 1) no rights for appeal but 2) most of their fees refunded.

This makes me wonder (humour me for a moment please)...if CIC would pay just a little bit more attention in their assessment, before stamping DENIED on the application, since no one (not even CIC) really likes to refund money.

Maybe that's one of the first things that they're trained to look for? 8)
