I have filed for PR application on May -20. Further to add, I have claimed 50 job offer points with My current employer. I have now got an offer from a new employer, would like to pursue. My current application status is Medical Passed, Eligibility Passed, Criminality Passed & security passed. Waiting final approval.

Can i take up the new offer. I am currently on an Open Work permit. Would it risk my application as i have 50 job offer points.

Please request for kind inputs.

It seems that you are very close to receiving the eAOR. can't you wait for it before leaving the current company and accepting the new offer?
It is safer, mainly if the 50 points were essential for you to be invited to apply.

If you can't wait, just make sure to raise a web form to let IRCC know that your original offer is no longer valid but you have a new one (and attach it to the form). But be prepared to delays since they will need to re-review your eligibility

Are you still above the ITA cut off if you lose the 50 job offer points? If so, then go ahead and change jobs. If not, then there's risk in leaving your current job and your PR application could be impacted. Best to wait until after you are a PR.

I can wait up to a month from now(Jun 2nd week is my joining) . I am totally confused , If I should ask them additional time. I am just at the final step its taking for ever:(:(:(:(

No I would loose a big number if i loose 50 points. Would the new offer be also accounted for 50 points.

If your new employer has obtained an approved LMIA, then yes. Otherwise no.

Further to add, Do i need to have the approval over portal or if the agent confirm that application is approved & i m waiting only for the letter is that ok to resign & join the new firm.
