I went to USA on visitor visa in 2016 and I was deported from the airport as soon as i land, because immigration officer had some proof which shows that i am going to live there after completing leagl days of visitor visa, they banned me for 5 years.
Now i want to continue my event management study in canada on student visa, and i am planning to come canada this year by giving IELTS and taking admission in canada. so is it possible for me to come canada on student visa???
Are there any chance that my deportation will make effect on my student visa for canada?

Yes, previous deportation from US will have effect on Canadian visa approval. If you have a good sop then you can negate your deportation. You will need to have more proof than others that you will not overstay.

Just to be clear, they did not give you an opportunity to withdraw your application to visit the US ?

Normally if you are refused entry in the airport you can withdraw your application to enter and you can go on the next flight home ?

Are you sure they said you were deported for 5 years ?
