Query: Unique Client Identification # on Canadian Business/Tourist Visa

Hi All,

My friend has a Canadian business/ tourist Visa on his passport. Now, when he is trying to register for EE, it is asking to input a 8 digit UCI (Unique Client Identification) # which as per them is on the visa, however, the visa nowhere has mentioned this #. Also, there is C.Rec # on his Visa which is also a 8 digit #.

Is this C.Rec # same as the UCI #?

Please share if you have any inputs...

UCI was introduced sometime in 2010. It is all numeric. 4 numbers followed by a hyphen followed by 4 numbers. If the C.Rec# on his visa is an 8 digit number, that is probably UCI.
