Hi,
I recently completed my master’s from the University of Toronto and got my PGWP. I am planning to travel outside of Canada. My study visa which was issued to me with my study permit is valid till September 2024.
Now I know that since I am on PGWP my study permit is no longer valid but do I need to apply for a new TRV to return to Canada or the existing study visa will be fine? I am asking this question because I have read in some forums that a study visa expires when the study permit expires irrespective of its expiry date. Is this true?
If I have to apply for a new TRV (visitor visa), can I do it outside of Canada?
