My query is regarding proof of funds. My wife is the primary applicant and has most of the required amount in her bank. Is it ok if I transfer my salary every month which comes in another account to her account to reach the threshold required. Is it okay if my father provides a gift deed of some amount or can I use my FD as part of the amount required.

- Transferring your salary to your wife's account: I don't think anything is wrong with this as we often give money to our wives for savings (especially in sub-continent). Just to be sure, don't transfer all of it, keep some in your account also. To support this, declare your bank statement in the application as well as a letter of explanation that you transfer a certain percentages of your salary to your wife for purpose of savings.

- Your father can certainly provide you with a gift deed. You can use that for POF.

Good luck!
