Query regarding PR card

I plan to do my landing in May but have to return back to my country in 15 days. My spouse will continue to stay in Canada. My query is that do I need to be in Canada during the process of getting the PR card or will they send it to my mailing address in Canada and I can ask my spouse to either hand carry or post me the card?

Yes, you can do that both options either hand carry or courier PRC to you home country.
