Hi, I have the required funds for my family in fixed deposits in my spouse name, but I am the primary applicant. Can i present those fd advices as pof , if not, then how to use those funds?

I think you can but will need a declaration from her side that its ok to use these funds

If she can get your name added to her account aqs a joint account and she is accompanying you, you just need a note from her saying that the joint funds can be used exclusively by you. It looks much better.

You can use them. I used my wife's provident fund statement and fixed deposits in addition to mine. As long as she is accompanying you it can work.

But make sure that all your funds are not from your wife - 50-50 is ok (worked for me)

I am in the same situation having some in my account and some in my spouses account covering more than the required pof,am wondering did you recieve pr yet
