Hi,

My husband applied for Canada when he was single and he has received the ITA for the same. But the issue is we got married after he filed for express entry. Now our combined score comes out to be less than cut off. What can be the workaround for this. Should he go ahead with the ITA and update the status as married in further process? Will that be an issue?

Thanks in Advance

No, the bolded part is misrepresentation as you are already married.

Either he can apply having you as non-accompanying spouse (meaning you won't get PR and he would have to sponsor you later on) OR you have to decline the ITA and have a lower score.

I think he had to update his express entry information as soon as anything changed. Not sure but can count as misrepresentation.

Hi

whether PR application is filed or yet to be submitted? And would you share your CRS score and ITA date...
