Query regarding admission in colleges in Canada

Hi all,
I have a query, if I want to take admission in colleges in canada after PR for post grad diploma courses, will I be eligible as I am 2011 passed out with work experience different than my graduation field and with such long study gap, I have read in forums that colleges don't give admissions ??

Colleges will admit you if you meet their requirements. Study permits are often refused due to long study gaps/unexplained field changes, but of course if you are already a PR you don't need one.
