Hello everyone,

I have a quick query on work experience filled in the express entry profile. I have 1 year 7 months experience in an occupation which doesn't fall under NOC 0,A or B. The work experience which I have updated is only the skilled occupation i.e., my present work experience of 1 year 5 months.

Please advise if I have to update that non-skilled work experience in the exp entry profile even though I am not claiming any points for it.

Thanks in advance.

We can include that work in personal history as far i know about but not sure. I didnot enter mine

Is there a field in personal history where we can update the same?

You mean post ITA right?

After getting an ITA, the system will ask you to account for the time spent while you were at that job. If you haven't included it in your work experience and it shows up in your personal experience, that will create an unnecessary discrepancy in your application.

Recommend that you retain that job in your work history and not claim (or be granted) any points for that. As long as you have other work experience that gets you sufficient eligibility points and CRS score, honest declaration of other jobs that don't do this shouldn't matter.

Can I also update my part-time work experience in the same way which I was doing whilst my full-time studies?

If you don't need it for points, you can safely leave it out because that period is covered by your full-time studies.

Thank you very much for your help.

But am a bit confused where does it give me an option to claim point for a particular job experience or not and what and what do I put in the NOC box if the job has no NOC?

Thanks in advance

You don't have an option to claim or not claim points - the system does that for you. You just have to honestly input whatever relevant information you have at your disposal and the system does the rest. You also have to ensure that you can support all the information you have provided with relevant documentation to convince CIC when required.

A job with no NOC is very unlikely. Recommend you do multiple job responsibility keywords search in the NOC database to arrive at the closest NOC for that particular job - sometimes it isn't easy to find but it's there for sure.

I was doing my full time education from October 8008- June 2010 and I was working part time from December 2008- September 2010. Rather than updating my part time work experience for 4 months from June 2010 (after completion of my studies) to September 2010. Can I go ahead and update the part time experience from December 2008- September 2010.

Please advise

Do we have to provide job letter for any noc c job to cic after ita? Plus i did part time and full time for the noc c job what should i put for hour per week and on my reference letter?

If that is the honest truth, yes you can.

Do I need to provide documentation for the unskilled work and part-time job after ITA, or is it only for skilled occupation which we are claiming points for. Kindly confirm
