hi Experts,
I am filing my application under CEC. I have a query on "Notice of Assessment"

Here is what the checklist say regarding Work Experience in Canada:
Work Experience in Canada
For the principal applicant:
• copies of your most recent T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment issued by Canada Revenue
Agency,

Here is my situation:
I moved to Canada in Jan 2012. I have got my T4 for Tax Year 2012 and have filed my returns with Canada Revenue Agency. I have mailed the documents to CRA today. I do NOT have the "Notice of Assessment" from CRA yet.

My query is: Can I send my application for PR without the NoA?

Yes. You can, with a covering letter stating that you have filed your first return recently and will submit NOA to CIC once you receive it.

Is it mandatory to update Cic with the latest NOA?
I applied in 2012 and that year i did not file 2011 tax hence i only sent NOA 2010 in my application.
I just recently filed 2 year 2011 and 2012. Should i email them my 2012 NOA?

Do you know if the application will remain at the Sydney office until they receive it, or will they forward your application to Ottawa and you have to send your NOA there?

All additional docs have to submitted only to CPP Ottawa (after receiving AOR). Only in exceptional cases (where the docs have been held back at CIO), CPP will revert and instruct to send the docs to CIO.
