Hello All,

I am about to schedule IELTS examination. reading through the forum blogs I understand that minimum CSR point required is atleast 450 to get a clear shot to immigrate to Canada. Whenever I try to find my approximate CSR points using the online tool available in CIC website with a tentative IELTS score of 7, I get only around 360 point

Can some one tell me if it is accurate or will the point vary when actual points are awarded. Is it worth pursuing canada immigration. I am really skeptical on what to do now.

HI

My Overall Score is 364 from India and I have got 12+ yrs of experience and my spouse of 5+yrs experience as Primary applicant due to 5.5 in IELTS (my Score)
I have created EE on Feb 22 2016 - Please let me know when can i receive any PNP or Job Offer and also suggest any other Options to improve my Score.
how can i check which PNP program open.

WES done.

Any Help is appreciated - Please suggest

It is pretty accurate.

I would suggest to look at PNP programs.

1.To get a direct ITA (based on the current trend), your CRS should be at least 470 and above (but let's assume it may come down a bit, so a safer bet would be 460)

2. The tool is accurate, check this one http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp. IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that the primary applicant should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculator and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.

3. The answer to the question 'whether it is worth pursuing Canada immigration' will be solely based on your life priorities, goals and aspirations. If you have all the documents to substantiate your claim and you meet all the requirements listed by CIC, nothing can come in your way from migrating to Canada.
