Hi there everyone,

I am currently employed at a Vineyard & Winery. I actually work in a small family run business and get hands on experience with every part of the business from all vineyard work through to winemaking, production and sales. Have been employed for about 19 months now.

I am wondering if this job is eligible for PR through the CEC.

From my understanding my job comes under this title (see below) as vineyard worker, however this year I am taking on more duties and a more managerial position.

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=8&val1=8431&val65=*

CEC states eligibility is for NOC Skill classes, 0, A and B. And from what I understand I am probably not eligible.

If this is the case, does anyone have any other suggestions into what other channels I could obtain PR?

Many Thanks.

For CEC, you would need to change into a higher-skilled occupation and spend 12 months full-time (or equivalent) doing that.

You could look into the various provincial nominee programs (PNP).
