Hello guys,

Are there any Quebec selected applicants here who applied for PR at the Beijing visa office in CHina?

I just want to know how long it takes them to issue a visa. Any experiences? I was never worried, but i am begining to worry now coz our passports have been in tht office for about 2 months now. OUr online status changed 3 weeks ago, reading " Your case has been finalised" i am just wondering why up till now the visa has not been stamped, or if our application was denied why haven't they sent the passports till now. I heard "finalised" means Aproval or denial. Just a little concerned now.

BCGUY,

I know it is Hongkong. Hongkong office issues the Selection certificate. Then Beijing visa office issues the Visa.I applied for PR from the Beijing visa office as instructed by the Quebec deligation office in Hongkong. I am just worried as to why i haven't received my passport since almost 2 months ago, knowing fully well that the case had been finalised.

Thanks.

Hey guys,

I studied at Alliance Française and got my DELF A2 in 2008. I just failed my application because my degree lies withing the 12 points category, it is a BSc in Biochemistry. I also sent my IELTS Academic and General Training, which are still valid. If they do not accept my DELF I will still get 59 points, because I have a wife and she gives me points as well.

Do you think they may reject my application because of the language skills?

Thanks,

Hi pepe84,

Just wanted to ask for an update with regards to your application. Have you been approved with A2 level? Thank you very much in advance for replying.

No yet, although the money was cashed. I called them and they said it is still in process since May 2nd 2013 :(

Thanks for replying. That's what I'm wondering, too, right now, if we will be considered even if we don't have B2 level. However, the way they explained it in their site seems to suggest that it is possible to be selected despite not having B2 level for as long as you get enough points. Well, we will see. Good luck to us! :-)

Hi All,

It is rather unfortunate to inform you that if you have submitted your application to Quebec and you have not yet been called for an interview nor have got the final decision yet, your application will be processed according to the new rules in effect since August 1st, 2013, no matter when you submitted your application.

Please check this FAQ, specifically answer No. 1
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/questions-answers.html#august

Also, please help us to send a complaint to the Minister of Immigration by using the link below, you can send the complaint in either English or French,

Many thanks guys!
