I just noticed I checked mark the box for (If you are 18 years or older and reside in Québec, ) I don’t reside in quebec .. would that affect my application? Any answer appreciated pls.

Is that the question regarding registering your name in the electoral lists?
If yes, doesn't matter, it's not part of the process and only matters after you become a citizen.

I too believe it doesn't matter as it is to get your consent to include your name into the electoral rolls.
