I know that you have to spend 730 days in any 5 year rolling period to maintain PR status. Can anyone tell me do days in Canada whilst on an IEC working holiday visa, implied status or BOWP count? Also if days as temporary resident do not count, does the count start at CoPR or on landing for PR?
I know you have to spend 3 years (1095days) in 5 years to apply for citizenship. I think you can count 50% of the days spent in Canada on a work visa or a a visitor up to 365 days maximum contribution. I assume this would include an IEC working holiday visa and BOWP. Can anyone tell me do days under implied status also count 50% of days towards the qualifying period? Also do 100% contribution days start at CoPR or on landing for PR?
Thanks
