Champions/Experts, please advice, seeking PPR timeline for QSW with CSQ Received since 2012. Here's my timeline, would greatly appreciate to anyone with an educated estimate of when I can expect PPR or whatever follows. Visa Office is CPP-Ottawa and I am an outland applicant, it's already been 18 months since Federal Application was submitted:

Dec-12 CSQ Received
Apr-13 Application Submitted
Apr-13 1st Line: e-cas 'we received your application April 5 2013'.
Jun-13 Med Request
Jul-13 Med's Done
Sep-13 2nd Line: e-cas "Medical results have been received"
Feb-14 RPRF Request
Mar-14 Police Cert Request
Jul-14 3rd Line: e-cas 'we started processing your application July 3rd 2014'.
Jul-14 FBI Cleareance Req
Aug-14 FBI Submitted
PPR ?

Please, when can I expect PPR?? , e-cas still shows 3rd line that reads: "we started processing your application on July 3rd 2014".

When can I expect DECISION MADE??? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi

No one can give you a correct estimate of the duration of "in process" status. Some people stay in process for a few weeks and others for months. Follow the timeline of people who went in process with you in the month of July.

Thanks bubblyhead, unfortunately I haven't found a lot of members under the QSW program with Federal Application going in process in July to reference from, if you know of a forum I could check or folllow would greatly appreciate it!

I wish I knew of one such forum too! My file went in process July 29th. I cannot tell you the mental gymnastics this has and is still putting me through. I am just hoping that by the end of the year it should have proceeded to DM and PPR.

Can't speak for the Ottawa office, though people that I know say that once your have submitted your medicals, the process should end in 6 months or so.

I'm surprised to see that the police cert was requested after your medicals. Didn't you submit the police cert together with your application?

Hey bubblyhead, mental gymnastics is conservative but I totally get you, November now marks my 19th month since application was submitted and my 5th month since my application went in process in July 3rd so my mind is full of expecation but also afraid for how much longer I have to just keep hoping that maybe tomorrow I will see that email for PPR ...

Hi Okacheese, no, I was told we would be let know by the Visa Office of when to submit these. It was almost 1 year after my application was submitted that the VO requested me to submit my police certificate. I wish it was 6 months after medicals, for me it's been 19 months since application was submitted and 17 months since medicals and still no PRR :(

That is interesting. Are you currently residing in the States? I’m guessing you are, with those FBI certs which you have submitted.
IIRC, the medical results are only good for one year, the same for police certificates. So if you have not heard anything, there’s a chance where you would need to redo the medicals for the visa to be issued or to land. At any rate, don’t cite me on this.
If you don’t mind me asking, why didn’t you submit the police certs together with your application? I’m speculating that the missing police cert kinda delayed your timeline.

Yes, I am residing in the US. Am afraid too that I will be asked to re-do medicals which means more waiting and no PPR.

We did not submitted the Police certificates with the application because we were told by the law office that police certificates didn't have to be submitted until requested by the VO, but you may be right, at this point, I am just hoping to hear soon from the VO!

What is your timeline Okacheese, are you also a QSW with Federal Application submitted? If so, what is your current stage? Best of luck!

Yah. I received the CSQ last June under the PEQ. It has been exactly a year since the receipt of application-4 Nov 2013. The VO is Singapore.
I have not heard anything at all these past 12 months. No Medicals, nothing. I submitted whatever that was required on the checklist, including police certs. It takes about 18 months to process 80% of the application at that office according to the latest statistics.

Hope you hear something soon, according to statistics, CPP-Ottawa also takes 18 months to process, and I am already on the 19 month ...
