Dear Qarax and seniors
I am planning to land for 2 weeks then return back to my home country; later on after a year I will return back to Canada permanently. My question is: which is better to book round-trip tickets or just one way then buy the return back after landing. I heard from other threads some people face problems in landing procedures and they are not allowed to fill the PR form for their short period of stay.
Another question if you never mind: Can a hotel forward my PR cards overseas to my home country? Is it a secure way? Is there any third - party can do this? I am just confused and don't know what shall I do
Please advice me and thank you in advance

If you have a plan to return on a particular date, then return ticket is better. Airline ticket rates are according to their fare table which has fixed with some time limits for the validity period.Usually economy tickets have a validity of one year but If your return date exceeds 11 months from date of booking, the rate would not be cheaper. Therefore you have to discuss with any of the travel agent in your town and choose a better deal.

You don't have to fill any PR form when you land. Your COPR will do the job and the BSA will take care of it. You can return any day after landing, as you wish.

A hotel or a third person mailing your PR card to your home country is not a reliable method. You should entrust a relative or very close friend to do that. Otherwise, wait in Canada till you get the PR card and go to your country with it.

Thank you very much for your quick reply.
You mean that I can buy a round-trip ticket with unknown date for return. After landing I can book the date of return ticket once I receive the PR.
Our tickets cost around 6400$ for roundtrip but for one way ticket each one of them cost 5000$ means 5000$*2 for both itinerary.
Thank you again

No, I did not say that. You can buy a ticket with open return date from a travel agent. But not possible without giving a return date if you make reservation yourself online. For online booking the return date should fall within 11 months from the day you make booking - not from travel date. Therefore, you should check with a travel agent of your town.

From which Airport/country you will fly to Canada?.

Get return tickect , as it costs less , you can leave canada at any time after getting your PR card , and can enter multiple times during the validity of your PR status / cards.

Carrying / transporting PR card is a crime , and results in cancellation of your immigration

I am not aware of any Canadian government instructions stating that mailing or carrying the PR card by another person is forbidden!!!.
