I have just given exam of ielts on 8.5.2010 but my listening & speaked section was not good i think i will not get the required band . Now i have to submit all my paper within 120 days which end on 30th july 010. Now there is only four dates availibale that is 12.05.10, 05.06.10, 26.06.10 & 17.07.10 . My question is that if i will not acheive the desired band 7.5 in listening & 6.5 in other in first of three attempt then there is only 17.07.10 date remain for me to appear for exam . But the result will come after 13 or 14 days that will be on 30th july or 31st july but i have to submit my document with ielts result on 30th july . So what i can do at that time may i send the letter with my other document ( pcc, pof , marksheet & experience letters)which show the date of test that i had appear to ensure them that as soon as i get the result i will submit the same to the chc

Please suggest me that will it work

If you are not even confident of getting the desired scores in 4 attempts, then better forget about getting 16 points for language. Instead settle for less (if you can still manage 67 points). And be advised that post 10 April 2010 CIC will not ask the applicant for IELTS Test score & will use their discretion for gauging your English language skills. So if you submit all documentation without the IELTS score, chances of rejection of your application are high if you don't meet the 67 points.

Be confident... IELTS it not a big deal.....
Are u getting enough points in case u score less in IELTS ?


if not satisfied take holidays from office, take coaching.. n sit again in test

remember that ielts is got a lot to do with how we attempt competitive exams like mba, medical, engg etc etc its a mix of logic and language skills. even though i had very good command over english i solved a lot of question papers online and achieved 7.5 bands.

THE KEY TO CRACK THESE TEST IS TO TAKE MAX ONLINE TEST AT HOME USING A COMPUTER AND INTERNET THATS ALL... do these high pressure scenarios daily like taking two papers of 3 hrs each one week before your test...i am sure you will get a fantastic score also focus on the area like listening that you are weak in.

my ielts coach always told me its not to do with age, exp or language command its HOW WE crack it thats most imp.

it may sound weird and illogical,,,but i can assure u one thing for sure

GIVE UR TEST THROUUGH BRITISH COUNCIL AND GIVE IT AT CHANDIGARH

members may ask what is so special about it but i had faced the same problem,,,,,

i needed 16 points from IELTS,,,ldh IDP gave me listening 8,,,,reading6,,,spkng6.5,,,wrtng 5.5,,,,,,,,for me it was very very dissapointing,,,,i was left with nothing,,,,beleive me man it was end of my world

in the next attempt after 23 days at CHD BC,,,i got 8.5 in listening,,,,8 in reading and 7.5 in spkng and 6.5 in writing

i collected data from 17 of students who were in the same situation across 7 coaching centres in Ludhiana and found the solution was right,,,,,,,i cannot tell u how much research i had done in those 23 days for this problem

i can only guide you and tell u with all my heart that take good coaching,,,,have confidence,,,,,,and then go for it
u will be more than welcome for any hints,,,advice,,,,just anythng,,,i know ur position sir,,,i have been through this

You must do the good practice before attending other IELTS test.
