Recently recieved request for medicals, passports and documents. Which deadline is correct?
PEASE I NEED TO KNOW WITH CERTAINTY, WHICH IS THE CORRECT DEADLINE. 60 OR 90 DAYS. I NEED TO KNOW SINCE I AM AWATING FOR SOME DOCS. I KNOW I SHOULD SEND ASAP, I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHICH DEADLINE IS THE OFFICIAL DEADLINE, 60 OR 90 DAYS ???

1) Letter with ticked boxes outlining the documents I should send says:

... IF DOCUMENTS ARE NOT RECEIVED AT THIS OFFICE WITHIN 60 DAYS, THIS OFFICE WILL ASSES YOUR APPLICATION WITH DOCUMENTS ON HAND....
BUT,

2) E mail received says:

Please find attached a letter indicating the documents that we require from you. If you do not send the above within the next 90 days, your application will be assessed based on the information available in your file, and may be refused.

I strongly suggest that to submit the docs before 60 days, you would be putting your self at a possible disadvantage if you do it in 90 days

Go with 60 days deadline.

60 days is normal. You have to keep that time. In case you failed to prepare within that time then you can request to extend another 30 days. For me that happened and they extended the time.

IMHO,

1. For the benefit-of-doubt, on urself, submit the docs asap, but no later than 90-days... Their email marked to u explicitly says so.

2. To give them the benefit-of-doubt, submit the docs by 60-days max... U'd then sleep peacefully!

BTW, in either case u'd most likely not be penalized. Actually 60 or 90 doesn't matter, what matters is how soon u could send those docs. Earlier the better.
