hmisabpk,thanks for ur help,i appreciate it,but i am in montreal,how long does it take for you to receive your permanent resident card?if I could be in this address that I live now for another month then at the end of july or 2 august there would be 6-7 weeks that I would be there since I informed the immigration center of my address,is that enough to PR card?

I have received my PR card yesterday ( total 41 days from landing date, and about 30 working days)
You can update your address information at any time (which you have done already), when you send the form for PR card? what is your landing date?

hi hmisabpk,I landed 2 june in montreal airport,but I gave them my address in 11 or 12 June I think.I did not fill a form I called immigration center and they told me I can give my address by phone and that is it,the checked all my info and then told me to send me the PR card to mentioned address

I think every thing is alright, even the 11 or 12 June address update is no problem, you can expect your PR card in the first or second week of July 2010 with grace of Almighty.
