As a Quebec Selected Immigrant, am i required to LAND and SETTLE in Quebec?

What are the consequences if I land in another province? Would I be denied entry?
What are the consequences if I land in Quebec, but shortly after decide to move to another province? Can my residency be revoked?

I would appreciate it if you can point an official document/link that clarify this matter.

Many thanks in advance for you reply

hi lak09,

i politely advise you, please spend some time and have a look through this forum, this subject has been clarified in many details,
many times already! :)

thank you,

Have a nice day :)

Thank you for your reply.

I have read some posts, and i have found contradicting answers that left me even more confused,

- Stating that QSW can land and settle anywhere in Canada, as in the following post:
Quebec Provincial Nominee- Can I live in another Province after landing

- Stating that QSW have the legal obligation to settle in Quebec, as in the following post:
CSQ-Provincial Nominee Quebec, want to move toronto

Can you kindly point reliable posts, rather better, official documents ?

Its better to land and settle in Quebec until the citizenship. It can create some problems when you apply for citizenship. An immigration lawyer can guide you better. But try to land and settle in quebec.
Best of luck

Would you happen to know if I can land in Quebec, and give an address in Ottawa to mail the PR from Quebec?
It would be convenient for me to use the free accommodation in have in Ottawa, until securing a job in Montreal.

Many thanks,
