Can somebody who understands or even someone who has undergone this application themselves explain this to me? I don't have a Canadian bank account yet, because it requires the visa i'm applying for, so i'm kind of stuck in this vicious circle. CIC doesn't respond to my e-mails. I am stuck on Phase 2: Immigration Assessment. I have paid the fee and IEC has confirmed proof of payment.

Desperate for an answer. Thank you!

hi there,
i'll just got the confirmation from cic that they received my application. i'm not very experienced, so i'll just tell you what i did.
i found my country through the http://www.international.gc.ca/experience/index.aspx?view=d website. after i created an account there i uploaded my passport and completed the first part of the application. i received a message through my kompass account and i downloaded the letter mentioning that i should make a payment to my country's canadian embassy's account in Euro (110). i made the payment through internet banking from a local account and the next day i was able to upload my payment receipt (with all the required information as per requirements written on the letter i mention). the next day i received another message from my kompass acount mentioning that i should apply through mycic. the letter i downloaded from this message provides the link, which is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp . i selected the GCKey option and i created and account. after that, i started the online application and i uploaded my documents. and today i received the confirmation that my application has been received.
i hoped i helped you a bit and did not confuse you further.
good luck!
