PSWP after coming back to India

Hi,

I have studied in Canada for 3 years but I had to come back to India because my brother was terminally ill. I did not bother to apply for Post Study Work Permit but now I want to go back. However the eligibility tool on CIC Website says I have to be in the Country and hold a valid study permit for this.

My question is that If I plan to do another 1 year course, can I get PSWP for 3 +1 years or just 1 year.

1. If you got into an eligible course, for 1 year, then you would be eligible for a 1 year PGWP.
