PRTD Processing

I have to travel to India urgently and my PR card is still in processing with no way to know when it will be dispatched. I never understand why these things take so long. Now, the only option left is to travel to India and apply for a PRTD to re-enter Canada.

Again, I am seeing horror stories that PRTD has uncertain processing times and you cannot plan anything.

Does anybody has a good experience of getting a PRTD from India (New Delhi) in 4-6 weeks ? or are we stuck forever.

I'm not sure why you have posted in this section of the forum (this section deals with moving to Canada from the US). Recommend you look at the threads in the Permanent Residency Obligation section of the forum. I believe there is a thread there dedicated to PRTD applications through ND. You would be best off joining that thread and reading through the recent timelines people have experience there. Good luck.

Hi I get a question please.. When I was 8 years old my parents and I move to Canada (in 2012) we have the pr card.. To yeras later in 2014 my dad decided to return to our native country and the pr card expired (in 2017) how can I return to Canada now at the age of 18 year old

You need to apply for a PR Travel Document with H&C considerations stating that your parents removed you from Canada as a minor:
