If approved for a PRTD, particularly when abroad accompanying a Canadian citizen, do you receive notice for the actual number of days that you were determined to be resident?

Actually there are certain circumstances when that time does count, but I'm not sure if it's different for PR since this is for citizenship. You would think the requirements for physical presence would be similar, or even tougher for citizenship.
