Prrof of funds - Will Mutual funds and shares do?

Folks:

Can anyone advise if I can show:

1. Government Bonds
2. Mutual Fund statements
3. Share values

If anyone has shown real estate value how to obtain valuation?

1. The first 3 are Ok -good to go.
2. About the Property Valuation:
2-a) U need to first check it with your CHC if they accept that. Not all CHCs do.
2-b) It is done by a 'Certified Valuer' -who usually are Cost & Works Accountants with a license.

Thanks. my consultant says its a BIG no for Shares, MFs and even Govt Bonds. Only FDs, Bank balance. I am trying hard to get valuation done of property

All CHCs do not accept the Property Valuation. U need to check the CHC specific guide on it.

What/How to Show the funds
These funds could be in the form of:
• Cash,
• Securities in bearer form (for eg, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills) or
• Negotiable instruments in bearer form (for eg, bank drafts, cheques, TCs or money orders).

On the advise of my consultant, I downloaded statements for my mutual funds holdings and got them certified by a Chartered Accounted to submit as POF with complete documents. He also converted the amount from INR to C$ at that day's exchange rate.
